In August 2007, Cherokee Studios closed its doors at the famous 751 Fairfax location to make way for development.  A new creative building will debut on the same hallowed ground that was once the site of Republic Pictures (1930's), MGM Recording Studios (50's-70's) and Cherokee Studios (70's-2007).  The new CHEROKEE LOFTS will be the first LEED platinum certified residential building in L.A. to offer green state-of-the-art design to artists who want to live and work in an exclusive music-centric community.

While the studio may have closed, the Cherokee affiliated companies remain active.  Please see links to the right.
